On a serious note: I just read a little about the book you mentioned, i'm thinking of purchasing this as well. I like fantasy books. I believe this comes from the series:  The Kingkiller Chronicle. Am i correct?

Yes it is book 1

It's very good and I think it's good for a book club because it leads to discussion in the future of the characters, and almost a fantasy mystery with lots of questions to be answered. the second book is also out, but still awaiting the third.
