| Great job, Witty.
You played a great wolf.
Also.... ....never....rely...on...the quiete....or the useless....
A great man once said, get rid of the quiete or the useless as they could hurt the village....
On to game 2 | |

| It was pretty obvious to me angi was town and you guys followed Witty very unwittingly. Who hammers like that without even waiting for someone to talk? Ridiculous and painful to watch. | |

| lol... i admit, i layed the hammer hastely....this is in mere frustration. It wasn't you, Jackie.
I was giving a chance to some silent people who i knew are a villagers in order to speak out and defend themesleves and turn their FOS to others. It clearly did not work. Instead, I outed myself (on purpose and Romulus flat out told everyone) and people still didn't connect including the silent ones that i was a seer. Then, when Jackie was voted for a lynch AFTER she was dead, it pissed me off to a point that i wanted the game to end. People were NOT paying attention by either connecting the dots or even reading the threads to contribute. Witty played the game very well knowing that the strong ones are dead which leaves the village weakened and get sacked.
Jackie, next game... i'll play better and i won't take inactive people playing the game to heart anymore as it clearly, silent people hurt the game overall. Those type of people changed the way how i wanted to play originally and i regret it.
Hope to see you next game.
Angi, i'm sorry i killed you quickly...knowing that you are Tiffani from the other thread who were strong and played the game well in the past and seeing this 180 degrees transformation clouded my judgement and nailed you.
I'll use this experience as a positive and carry it to next game.

| Yeah I get what you're saying, Termy. I was pretty surprised with you voting for me and then saying you were going to be gone for two days but I knew you from the past to usually be an active player and if you suspected me, you suspected me. I honestly thought I was one of the more logical voices in the game and voting is a part of that. If you're not talking about who you suspect and why, and placing votes or pointing fingers to get people to speak up, then you're not really playing the game.
It was beyond frustrating, that we had these inactives who obviously just didn't care. I just don't see the point of going through this again with people signing up and posting maybe once per day, if that, or just not caring to actually reason things out. Thian, you're a great host, as usual. This just wasn't fun for me.

| I'll chime in to say what I felt worked for and against this game.
PRO: Slippy. Whether it was question-answering, vote-tracking, or mood-setting, it created an ambience of excitement and was also welcoming/helpful. A+ CON: Inactives/not-active-enoughs. That was definitely annoying but one inactive was gone pretty quickly and the other was a hair away from being the second person hung. That mitigated it a bit and made it less of an issue than it could have been. CON: Only one werewolf/werewolf and sorcerer don't know each other. I already explained my logic for thinking this was a rule that forced villagers to rely on intuition rather than deduction while also robbing the werewolf and sorcerer of the gift of companionship. CON: Attitude. The biggest con for me though was, by and large, the condescension I felt. Mafia/werewolf/resistance is great because it pushes you to the edge of wanting to kill someone just because they refuse to trust you, but sometimes the edgy tones seemed less like "desperate lashing out to save yourself" (which is normal) and more like "condescendingly putting down others" (which just acts as a disincentive to playing).
* Dislaimer: I will admit to talking a sizeable amount of smack but it was largely directed at Glendon and Pascal since I know them and I directed comments to their 'characters' rather than more personal insults. The one exception was calling Angi a bitch but that's because everyone else was and I wanted to fit in. (I also got the sense that Angi would know that it was intended as a joke)

| Romulus, The feedback is great. Thanks for that. I do admit the roles that I allowed were all circumstantial and did not work out AT all... I should not rely heavily on circumstance.
AKA. Lycan / Seer - Not having a confident seer would present a challenge. Bodyguard and Cursed. Having the bodyguard question whether or not they actually saved a villager, or having the curse who might have changed.
Also, Having the cursed turn if the body guard was still in thus creating a paired duo wolf team.
These were circumstantial scenarios that might have played out, but sadly did not.
If the sorcerer and werewolf knew who each other were and swung over the cursed, it would be a big swing in defeat.
I do appreciate that feedback, it lets me know where I can find a sweet spot with the game for future.
I will work harder for next game to bring forward a more traditional form of werewolf forward.

| This being my first forum-based game of anything so I don't have much of a frame of reference to make comments or suggestions, but I do agree with most of what Romulus listed there. I didn't get much of a condescension vibe though, I thought the posts were pretty civil and to the point for the most part.
I will admit that I interacted more with Glendon and Mike(Romulus), but only because I know them. For future games that's something I can correct.
Also, it's been said already, but Mr. Slippy did an awesome job. I see above that he had some of his own critiques for his choices in setting up the game, but I can see the logic in what he did, and his moderation, story-telling, and mood-setting were much appreciated.

| I really want to thank you all for playing. Werewolf is a really enjoyable game once you get used to the format. The main goal of this website is to just be able to have a large group of people get together casually and play games that normally only work if everyone is in the same household. This is a great opportunity for us to get to know each other and enjoy some casual game times with our buddies. More specifically, werewolf is a game about deceit, confusion, and interrogation. Especially for the wolves, it is a good strategy to kind of get under your skin, see what happens when a button is pushed, etc. So please try to not take anything to heart during the games. That said, if at any point you feel somebody has gone too far, I encourage you to go directly to the host and let them know, they are the best resources for you to utilize during a mid-game crisis. It is a discorded game, but there is no good reason to intentionally make it unenjoyable for anyone. So please keep these things in mind as we move forward, that riling up your opponents is sometimes part of the game, due to it's psychological nature, and please realize people have limits in regards to that. Be respectful of both and I think we will find that werewolf is a great way to... kill... some time | |

| Mmm hmm, what he said. I'm a pretty good listener when it comes to dah feels n stuff. If at any time you feel a bit discouraged or you are reading something in a way that makes a post not seem "neutral". Come to me.. we'll walk through it together and if it does go against the game in a way that makes you feel uncomfortable I will approach the person anonymously.
We are all here to have a good time and, I know I don't know most of you, you have no idea how greatful I was to get at least one game going on here. The website has been up for YEARS...and it fell into the background until a few people got an itch to play... so please, feel free to approach me. I don't bite.

Sign Ups for Season 2 will start on the 17th ((Minimum of 5 players needed)) and depending on if enough interest is had for another game, I will try to start the first day round on Monday or Tuesday 22/23 of Sept.
